NEW YORK, NY – PIDCI launched its 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration with a Grand Soirée at Rockefeller Plaza. The event unveiled the 2025 theme: “Embrace and Preserve Our Culture.” Dr. Emilio Quines and Dr. Angie Cruz-Quines were announced as Grand Marshals. The soirée, featuring Filipino cuisine and entertainment, kicked off preparations for the June 1st parade.
The Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc.(PIDCI) is hosting its 34th Annual Celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence Anniversary Commemoration in NYC on June 2nd! Immerse yourself in Filipino culture with a vibrant festival on Madison Ave. featuring live music, delicious food vendors, and local artisans. Don’t miss the exciting Independence Day Parade at noon! Celebrate Filipino heritage and community – all for free!

As we begin this year's festivities, we are excited to announce that our theme for the 2025 parade is “Embrace and Preserve Our Culture by Uniting and Empowering the Future”. This theme is to celebrate the past 35 years of its journey and accomplishments in uniting the community. The theme also aims to serve as a reminder of the strength we derive from our shared history and the rich diversity of our customs and traditions. We invite everyone to participate in this year's parade and show their support for our community. Your involvement helps to make this event a great success and is greatly appreciated. We hope that you will continue to join us in celebrating the rich history, culture, and diversity of our country. It is because of your continued support and participation that we are able to make this parade possible.
